How I Stopped Burning Out (Without Giving Up My Fire
You don’t have to choose between ambition and alignment. You just need a way to listen inward.
☁️ I’m a dreamer.
🔥 A fire-starter.
Blame it on the Aries.
I’ve always loved imagining new possibilities, trying new things, and pushing myself to grow.
As a kid, I was in every sport. As an adult, I’m still the person who gets fired up by a single conversation or a new opportunity.
I love that about me.
But there’s a shadow side.
When you’re always chasing the next thing, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Burnt out.
Wiped out from doing all the things, only to realize none of them actually brought the fulfillment you wanted.
For years, I repeated the same cycle:
🔥 Get excited
📋 Say yes to everything
😩 Overwhelm sets in
🧨 Walk away
It left me feeling scattered and frustrated. And honestly, I started to doubt myself.
But over time - through a lot of personal work and the same tools I now coach on - I started doing something radically different:
I paused. I turned inward. And I got honest.
Here's what changed everything:
I stopped making decisions based on urgency, ego, and “shoulds”…
And started making them based on my values and inner wisdom.
It sounds simple, but it’s powerful.
Now I check in before saying yes.
I ask:
Is this aligned with the kind of life I want to live?
Is this fueled by excitement or fear of missing out?
Is this a full-body YES… or just a “maybe it’ll look good” move?
And the result?
✔️ More finished projects
✔️ More fulfillment in my business
✔️ More presence in my sport
✔️ Less shame and self-doubt
